For over the past 3 and a half years Bryan and I have worked together at ToughBuilt developing products within the tool industry. On some projects I've acted as his manager and on others a co-designer.
Over that time I've seen Bryan undoubtably prove himself as a multi-faceted designer who can be extremely effective at all phases of the design process. A lot of times designers can end up specializing in either the front end ideation development or the more controlled design for manufacture side of things. Bryan is rare in that he was our go-to designer to provide digital sketch exploration, while also gaining a reputation for creating some of the most well controlled SolidWorks models we've ever seen. He's also created countless prototype samples for both ergonomics and mechanism. Of course not stopping there, I virtually met with him daily while he traveled to Vietnam to do on-site testing and review of products leading to production.
The other spectrum of flexibility Bryan possesses is with range of products. We've had Bryan jump from ergonomic handheld products that require a high level of surfacing control, to large steel tube based products, and even soft goods. He never backs down from tackling a new category, and is always receptive to learning.
Bryan is a top level designer who can both lead or support projects from inception to production. He's extremely technically proficient in both CAD and sketching, and never shies away from a challenge. I absolutely recommend him to any design team that's looking for someone they can rely on at all phases of development.
